WIN free tickets to RAIN the Musical

RAIN the musicalRAIN - A brand new Australian musical theatre show for right now.

THURSDAY 29 JULY to SUNDAY 8 AUGUST
Wednesday to Sunday 8pm
also Saturday and Sunday 5pm
New Ballroom, Trades Hall
Corner Victoria St and Lygon St, Carlton

What if the women of Australia went on strike to protest climate change?
What if the ‘zero emissions’ strike meant the women would not sleep with their blokes?
What if the blokes didn’t ‘give a rats’?

Australia needs RAIN - an outrageous Grecian take on Australian politics. Starring entirely fictional characterisations of Julia, Kevin and Therese, elected (and unelected) leaders get the Olympus treatment as women attempt to use sex as currency in a warming world full of internet porn.

RAIN is biting political satire inspired by Aristophanes’ Lysistrata. Directed by Jonathan Mill. Music Supervision/Direction by Stephen Gray. Featuring Karen Van Spall, Meredith O’Reilly, Anton Berezin, Vivien Davies, Amanda Levy and Josie Lane.

To WIN a double pass to OPENING NIGHT, Thursday 29th July, simply do one of the following:

- Follow Magnormos on Twitter and send a tweet that includes #Magnormos, with your idea for what else Australian women could protest over by withholding sex.

- Follow Magnormos on Facebook, and reply to the wall posting with your idea for another issue which Australian women could protest over by withholding sex. Entries must be received prior to prior to Wednesday 28th July.

Winners will be selected from BOTH Facebook and Twitter entries, so feel free to enter on both platforms!  Please make sure you are available for the performance on Thursday 29th at 8pm.
